With the wind howling on the side of this Tennessee mountain, it is hard to get, let alone, stay motivated. I would love to hear from other SAHM who are keeping sane and on task.
I would love to help but I work fulltime and my only child is 19 and gone off to the NORTH to school. Just wanted to empathize about the cold windy weather. Cold makes me not want to make anything or do anything useful either.
BRRR --- agreed! It is so cold in my office tonight - All I want to do is find a blanket and cuddle on the couch with my hubby instead of work! We are in for better weather this week though! YEAH! Suppose to be almost 60 here on Tuesday!
Hi Cara...i'm a SAHM and i'm going crazy being stuck in the house...live in Minnesota and I'm so not a winter girl. As soon as my hubby retires, we are heading south! lol
I'm entertaining myself, by spending hours marketing my website and making products and crafts. Just trying to stay vocused and get thru the cold months. :)
Hi Girl! You sound just like me! I have really been working on my website, too. If you send me a banner, I will send you mine, and we can exchange. I have a friend who just called night before last, and he is now living in MN. He told me about the temps and the snow you have all been living with. Makes TN look a little warmer. However, we live on the side of a mountain overlooking the Cumberland River, which is a cold river, even in the summer! I am looking forward to getting back to working on the products for the web....so far....just been cooking, cleaning, and trying to get some tax papers in line. So nice to hear from you. Stay warm!
Hi Carla... I agree it's hard to get motivated when it's cold.. we've been fighting snow and freezing rain for 2 weeks now.. it gets very depressing! I am really ready for warm weather and spring flowers.. I do a lot of posting and trying to spread the word about my business when it's bad out. I also dabble in graphics to pass the time.. The sun is out today and all the snow will turn to mud soon.
~mindy~
We already have mud. I just chased the youngest horse we have for over one hour, trying to encourage him to get into the pasture after several days in the barn. We had mostly freezing rain, some snow. I am ready for the spring flowers. The first we see in Tennessee are little miniature daffodils. I am so ready!
Hi everyone,
Been really cold and windy here in South Dakota but it is suppose to get to the 40's this weekend!
I am really excited. It will be like a heat wave.
Talk to everyone later,
kim
